We had arranged a day out with Granny and Grandad for today. Katie was adamant that what she wanted to do was take them to our woods. She wanted to show them how she can now climb the trees and ride her bike standing up. She wanted to play hide and seek. She wanted a picnic on a blanket. She wanted to show them the swings we like and the hills we climb up. She wanted to take them to the black castle. We did all of it. It was utterly wonderful. Playing in the dirt, scrambling up the banks, swinging on the ropes. Absolutely glorious!!
