Popster's birthday

Katie went to nursery this morning, and for some of the afternoon. But in the middle, she had an absolutely wonderful couple of hours with her very adorable little friend for her 4th birthday today. They had a floor picnic party lunch and sat so sweet and pleased to be together, grinning from ear to ear. They played a game really nicely, they did a jigsaw together, they went off and played babies, dress up, teachers. I discovered that Katie's pet-name from her key worker (Katiecustard) has in fact extended to other people including her friends, like Poppy. A very happy time for all concerned! They are going to be going to school together, so its lovely seeing them enjoy each other's company.

After nursery, we went out for tea with a friend, including lots of yummy ice cream at the end!
