An unattractive trait, I grant you, but hard to avoid when you spot this pack in the supermarket and know that for the same price you bought a packet of seeds last year and that now you have enough to feed a family of four for a month - and what's more, your broccoli is more succulent, fresher, tastier and has no wrapping or food miles.
