Autumn, Fairlie

I felt pretty darn good when we passed through Fairlie mid-afternoon today. The light was great but for a brief time the sun picked up on the golds and greens of autumn.

Large feels very like autumn

I had my pre-start meeting with the the builder who will fix my home and the guy from Fletchers. No one showed from EQC and that is a good thing. Hopefully everything will work out ok once work begins in June.

But in the meantime there are a few days away to be spent testing my foot on uneven ground, fishing with the bloke and staying with friends in Twizel.

It all promises to be very good. I didn't realise until after the meeting how weighed down I'd felt about this experience.
