Thursday 24 December 2009: Christmas Eve
About 4 1/2 years ago MrsCyclops and I got married at Balbirnie House Hotel in Fife - one of the best days of my life. We're back at Balbirnie for Christmas this year for a wee break. We arrived mid afternoon in time for a walk in the snow, and to capture this picture that echoes one of our wedding photos. Once we went back inside there was a lovely tea laid on - sandwiches, scones, cakes...
We're just watching an old DVD for a bit, then the evenings entertainment will unfold. Champagne and cocktails, a 4 course dinner, a trip to the midnight service at the local church and then mince pies and mulled wine when we get back to the hotel. Sounds wonderful.
