Saint Juan Pablo II

I picked up these pictures on holiday. They are actually the same but show different views from different angles.

I'm not a catholic but love Jean Paul II.

I didn't realise the importance of there being an Eastern European Pope at this time in history. I remember visiting his church in Gdansk in the late eighties, it was very simple and clean with none of the opulence the Catholic church is known for.

This is the first day I have had to rest since I got back from Mexico, so pic of the day taken and I will leave my camera at home.
