Sunday 27 December 2009: Top of the hill
Walked down to the village today. After the effort of eating, drinking and enjoying ourselves over the past couple of days it was a pleasant distraction to do little more than put one foot in front of the other.
Although it wasn't quite so simple as that. The road was very icy and it required concentration not to go skiting all over the place. Then of course there was the added complication of pointing a camera at the scenery and stopping to watch ravens fly past.
Psst...Don't tell anyone but it was also rather nice to have no one to talk to except the voices in my head.
