Mono Monday: SELFIE

Thanks so much for comments about the little honey eaters yesterday. They may have only been there for a few minutes but it was very exciting to see the 10 little characters hit the Spotlight!

It did mean I had to renege on publishing a Mono Monday Selfie shot, however after pointed comments from Blippers BikerBear and isbi, I have relented and delved into the archives to publish a pic that takes me back about 50 years approx!!

Growing up in Perth, a city with wonderful weather, and with keen tennis playing parents my brothers and I had every opportunity to play tennis as youngsters. Dad was so keen to encourage us that he removed over 50 magnificent prize winning rose bushes in our back garden so that he could install a state of the art bumper board for us to practise on.

It was a great life growing up as a child in Perth and we were blessed to have the most wonderful parents who always made us believe we could achieve anything we dared to dream. How lucky were we.
