Wednesday 30 December 2009: Sunset in Sunne
We got up very early to take the train to Sunne, Värmland (once the home of Selma Lagerlöf). A magic journey through a fantastic winterscape!
BIG version is better.
We had a lovely lunch with Z's god daughter, M-L, her parents and mormor (grandmother). After a wee walk around central Sunne we all took the train to Karlstad and had a super delicious cake and coffee at Marieberg Forest Nature Centre by Sweden's largest lake, Vänern.
Temperatures around -23°C.
A fantabulous day!
