Along the highway, Mount Victoria

A different take on the monomonday challenge: streetscape, this patch of grasses catches my eye every late afternoon as I drive past, with the sun behind, illuminating the bristly heads like silver beacons. And with a light breeze, they are even more dazzling.

You'll have to take my word that they are on the corner of the Great Western Highway and Kanimbla Valley Road. Its plantings or groupings of self sown flowers or weeds that, for me, make up the character of a streetscape.

Not just the built environment.

This weeks challenge hosted by Paladian - thank you!
