Katseveer wreck at dawn

Dawn at one of the ship wrecks in Katseveer, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Last day of our photography weekend. I can't believe it's over already... This morning we went to the former ferry harbour at Katseveer, which has been deserted for quite some time. The ships that were left have sunken and are now wrecks. This photo shows one of them at high tide. We weren't exactly sure how much of the ships would be visible at high tide. I would have liked to see a bit more of the ship, but you can't win them all... Technical info: photo made just before sunrise, using a Lee little stopper filter to get to a 20 second exposure. I also have some shots without this filter, but I liked this more abstract looking one better.

To summarize our weekend:

* Friday: the beach at Domburg.
* Saturday: Zeeland bridge at dawn.
* Sunday: Katseveer.

Right, now it's time for breakfast and after that we'll be packing our stuff and go back home. It sure has been fun and chances are there will be more photography weekends in the future. Thanks Ton and Herman for a great weekend!

Actually not that bad somewhat bigger...
