Are you in there?

Nope! I'm out here, watching you.

Some time ago we visited a Walled garden "Up over" (as an ex- colleague of mine used to refer to Scotland) and on the Tea-room window was a HUGE variation on this theme.
The birds there were, obviously, not camera-shy: but the window most definitely was; we could clearly see the birds but it wasn't worth wasting a shot.
"Oh, go on: we'll try the small version; see how it goes."

It went alright, straight down with the first pigeon to discover it.

Thence to the front window, where it took a few days to be discovered and we have to keep very still at present until they get aclimatised.

BOLLOX I will NOT put acclimated, the bloody word doesn't exist! Any more than oriented does.

The next door neighbours were only renting while they looked for a house in Penrith.

They've found one and this week-end is moving time.
I've been off-loading "severial" plants & bulbs, to give the lass a start as, apparently, the new garden is a bit short of decorative vegetation. Today I was out handing over an assortment of Galanthus(es): Woronowii & Viridapice when we spotted this chappy.

I just happened to be glued to the Canon at the time, complete with "long lens" for what must be about the 18th sighting of the "Golf ball": which we are, apparently, only allowed a glimpse of about 12 times per year. ("They" tell us)
