Re-blooming

So exciting! Emeline's orchid plant keeps re-flowering! One bud opened up last week; then this week, two more! We are thrilled, but trying to get a decent shot of it really proved a challenge. Fortunately, the super-macro on my X10 really works; so this is the result using that. I love the detail of the texture of the petals.

Been a good day on the whole; came home to a very busy G in the kitchen and the very distinct smell of my Dad's cooking! She is determined to get some recipes under her belt, and today she cracked chicken and chickpeas in flavoured rice! Amazing. Think there was a phone conversation with SweetArt at one point and just like my Dad, she is already thinking of what she wants to do differently next time. There you go! :)
