A WET DAY

Neil came round at about 10am this morning - to pick up his number and info for The Edinburgh marathon which he is running tomorrow. He was straight on the computer as usual catching up with the Indian Premier League cricket.

He needed to get his hair cut so this afternoon we walked down to the village together. I did some shopping while he was at the barbers. Its years since he has been to the barbers as he usually cuts his own hair. However his clippers have just broke and he had no time ( or money ) to buy any more.

When we got back home he had a meal before getting the bus to town and then the train to Edinburgh. He was going to meet up with some friends who are also running tomorrow. They have been driving up from London. They will all be staying in Edinburgh with the Godmother of one of Neil's friends.

The weather started off wet this morning. And the day has steadily got wetter. Torrential rain at the moment so the cats are fast asleep. The heating is on so Tino is on his radiator bed and Lily is tucked up in a small cardboard box just by my feet.

To illustrate the wet weather I have taken a shot of my umbrella. It seems to have grown a tail. Tino getting in the photo again.
