Picking up.....

the mail this afternoon, while Terry went to the hardware store.....

i've always wanted to do one of these close up, angled shots of something with a repeat pattern like this.....i find the rows of post boxes so neat and orderly.....they just beg to be blipped!

It's been a strange kind of day for me....went over to the studio this morning and it was so cold in there and i just couldn't get the wood stove pumping enough heat to let me feel comfortable....so i felt like i lost about 2 hours! and on top of that, all the pieces if threw yesterday were still way too wet for me to deal with....so, i did a bit of clean up around the place and made a few flat pieces - meaning i made them using a rolling pin and some wooden molds i have!

i think i'll have an early night!
