The House on the Hill...

At last, a clear night, so a night-time long exposure for you all, the first in all of two whole weeks!!

Really liked this backlit massive tree, that glows from streetlamps towards the right and the stars twinkling. I'm on a path that runs along a steep slope, below these rather posh houses that overlook Salisbury and I'm looking up... it was very fortunate that this one still has has a light on, at midnight, as it really helps lift the shot and make it more human.

Can't believe the amazing sharpness from the almost open aperture of the Nikkor 10-24mm, at its widest, though the corners aren't quite as blistering, but still not bad.
