Northern Exposure

Hunda

Took advantage of the beautiful morning and jumped on my bike for a wee birl around the island.

Stopped over on the west side of Burray and enjoyed a wee rest in the sunshine, didn't really need a rest but it was so warm that I had to take advantage of the cushion of damp moss and heather to cool down. Just lay there for a while listening to the larks singing and the bees buzzing.

The pic is taken from my roadside seat, looking over Scapa Flow towards Hoy in the distance and with Hunda in the foreground. Didn't have time to stitch it together very well but just had to try to get over the big view.

Later in the day the boys went kayaking from the Burray pier to Hunda with their friends. Came home tired, wet, sandy and very very hungry.
