J arrived for a brief visit today. We reckon it's been 2 years since he was last here, but to be honest it might just have been last year. Either way, this is his 3rd visit. He had come from visiting in-laws in Slovakia, and arrived wielding a bottle of homemade slivovica. Had this been 20 years ago when we first met, we would likely have had more than a single shot. Having said that, the shot was sandwiched between a visit to a Biergarten and a trip down our local. Maybe things are not so very different....
