It's funny that a day at the zoo could end in my selecting this picture of the power station on the Isar - I guess I'm just a sucker for high contrast industrial skyscapes!

The zoo was great and J kept pointing out how much nearer you could get to the animals compared to Edinburgh Zoo. We saw some amazing penguins, right up close as well as giraffes and polar bears (and the polar bear babies!) and lots of other amazing stuff.

But still, it's this shot of the power station chimneys which I like most from today.

Northern German pints on Agnesstrasse in the evening. Also good. Lots of people around celebrating Germany's win against Portugal tonight.
