Stockholm December 2011

I bought this beautiful little notepad as well as a heavy stainless steel serviette holder when I visited my children in 'Stokkies' end of 2011, but I decided the 'serviette holder' looks great on my office desk and what is better than my 'Stockholm Scene' little notepad in it? Apologies for blipping the notepad pictures upside down, but that's just to make it a bit more interesting!

Update on Jurie's condition:

Our dear Blip friend JURIE had Quintuple (5 arteries) Bypass Surgery on Monday, and tonight he was moved from the ICU to High Care, which is loads less traumatic than ICU, for him as well as for Ansa and the children! He was quite feverish yesterday and the blood pressure was very low, but today he seemed much more comfortable! The two legs, where veins were taken from, as well as the breast bone, which were opened up to be able to work on the heart, is super painful today, since he was not as heavily sedated anymore, but it will take a while to heal, and he is a very positive person! He will hopefully be moved from High Care to an ordinary hospital ward by Sunday, and then a few days more before he will be allowed to go 'home'. He won't return to Malaysia for at least 6 weeks though!
