Goosle Fledgling in Flight!

Go, Goosle, Go!

Exciting news: the little Goosles are definitely now fledglings!
I had a wonderful time at Eagle Pond today, and the "Goosle goslings" all demonstrated that they are quite proficient fliers (but not landers...), making them Goosle fledglings. Last time I saw them trying (Friday 27th) they certainly couldn't fly, but today they can all take off both from water and land, although landing was more hit and miss (well, they aren't still in the air, but there was quite a lot of running along the water and bouncing, rather than smooth landings). This one has one toe in the water!

I struggled to choose my blip spot, and have two alternatives:
Diving
Flying properly!

I've also uploaded several others (right from here).
Highlights:
Goosles:
Dripping from the beak (with brush-stroke bokeh)
The chase (with one diving to escape)
Taking flight! (with impressed siblings)
Taking off (with unimpressed anglers)
Landing well
Sculptural splash
Mrs. with swirly ripples

Other creatures on Eagle Pond:
Azure damselfly
Mallard mother and ducklings (one is unlike the others...)
Mallardlings (/hybrid)
Canada goose
Heron
