Mono Monday: Road

A coastal dirt road winding its way along the cliff top, farmland on the right and the Hurunui River joining the Pacific Ocean on the left. It was very hard to convert this to mono today as the colours were outstanding.

A day out for hubby and I to one of my favourite haunts. All was calm and the tide was in, terns were flying by along with oyster catchers and gulls while fantails were flitting in the native bush. I stood on the very edge of the cliff and soaked in the view, I'm always amazed at how the river changes with the force of Mother Nature, it was indeed a place of calm on this day.
