A Fishing Boat and a Passing Shower

20.9C with long sunny spells and a few short heavy showers in the middle of the day. Light breeze.

In preparation for the as yet unknown dates for the Council sending in Tayside Contracts to do work on the footpaths I did some more work on trimming back shrubs from the pavement side of the front border this morning. The next job is to try tying back lavenders and two huge Hebe plants so we don't have to cut them back. The lavenders should be relatively easy.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch and between the heavy showers. We left the house minutes after a shower passed and the roads were already dry. We went down the road to the beach at Westhaven. On the way down the road I noticed a little fishing boat sailing parallel to the shore with the passing shower heading out to sea.

Down at the beach the tide was on the way out and the Westhaven boats were all sitting on the sand, mud, and seaweed.
