Hint of Poppy

Hint of poppy framed by shaking leaves
Touch of crimson lit by midday sun
Blur of scarlet where the sunlight weaves
Shadow patterns painting waves of fun.

I tried to focus on the poppy, but the leaves won the day - hence my title.
Others that I took, where the poppy was in better focus, the petals look glassily ceramic - like an ornament, not like real flowers at all. Quite surreal. But I did like the light among these leaves.
