Young American Robin and Papa Sparrow has been shopping for his new brood.

I saw the hummingbirds enjoying the Catalpa Tree blossoms in the waning light last evening.

Sad fire news today and yesterday. A horrible apartment fire killed seven people, many of them children in Lowell. the building was from 1891 and had no sprinkler system. It was in compliance with smoke detectors. Terrible loss of life, the deadliest in Massachusetts in twenty years. Then this morning we got news from friend in Maine that a community and vacation landmark, Helen's Restaurant was destroyed by fire early this morning. Classic New England food and world famous Blueberry Pie. The coconut custard cream pie was my favorite. We hope they can rebuild. No one was hurt, thankfully.
