62 days to go

I started the day at home and ended up in Tobermory where I was hosting a Scottish Government "Townhall" Referendum event. It had a good turnout, despite the brilliant sunny evening , with a host of sharp questions and some interesting discussion.

I have personally spoken at , and been questioned at, over 60 public meetings or debates this year, with probably about 40 or 50 more to go before September 18th.

Massive field posters are also begging to appear across the countryside - though one might , of course , call them the antithesis of debate.

The one pictured in this montage apparently went up earlier in the week on Duke of Argyll's Argyll Estate land beside the A83 just outside Inveraray.

And in case anyone misses it, there is another in a similarly prominent position on the A819 coming into the town, again on Argyll Estate land right beside the sign for Inveraray Castle.
