Claire's Hand!

What a busy day here at the Pottery Place! I got in there early and began glazing etc to get a kiln on today. a few folks from cabins dropped by....then my dear friend Eleanor dropped in on her way back from a solo kayak/camping trip around Newfoundland! boy what a brave and awesome thing to do! she had an amazing time and over lunch told us many of the wonderful stories. She spent quite a bit of time communing with the icebergs out there and what spectacular images we saw!

More customers, most of which bought...only one asshole couple who wanted a 'deal' on 2 pieces - i didn't oblige so they left empty handed!!! you gotta love these crazy folks......it's nothing to do with the money (the most they could have expected as a 'deal' was about $10....it's all about attitude...and it's not a good one!). Then off to have dinner at Jane's place.....
and to spend the evening with her and her daughter Claire, whom i haven't seen in over 4 years. It was a totally delightful evening, good food, an abundance of wine and lots of laughter!

now i'm ready for bed...it's up early tomorrow cos it's Market Day!
