Endless Sunshine!

Another day of sunshine! Spent all day outside, starting with breakfast! Surprise visit from friends in the morning so we went for a walk with Ollie and Scratch up on the cliff path. The haar started to appear about lunchtime, but stayed just off shore so although we couldn't see across the bay, we were still bathed in sunshine!

Glorious blue skies all day, perfect weather for weeding, did some cutting back of nettles and the wild rose, rosa rugosa too, while the dogs sat in the shade and watched!

This year seems to have been a good year for terns, lots of them around. They were much in evidence today, obviously successful fishing too as they had fish dangling from their beaks There was a lot of screeching, they are very noisy birds with a lovely but piercing cry, and poor Postie was mobbed by them as he got out of his van!
