Lismore Lighthouse

The iconic lighthouse seen for many miles around the coast and closer to on the ferry back home from Mull. The lovely island of Lismore behind. End of an amazing two day trip to Iona.

Today is my actual birthday although due to fully booked ferries, we couldn't travel to Iona today. Thinking of Mum who laboured all day till 10pm to have me when she was just 20, and always did her best for us. I thank her too for the values she passed on. One of her sayings was 'always keep a good table' which translated from Yorkshire-ism means feed 'em till they're satisfied. And beyond!
