Smoke at Dusk

A busy day. Among various other things I made cheese, planted a tree, sprayed weeds, and sawed 5 barrow loads of logs. The tree is an apple that has “bite-sized” fruit that is ripe when the leaves fall. Sounds like a crabapple, but edible.

At dusk a bonfire caused an amazing effect. Instead of rising the smoke stayed flat to the ground and spread both east and west for several kilometres.

One year ago: a moonset shot.
