What will they remember??

This is a double exposure, one photo showing the children saying good-bye to a lovely time on the beach...and the other photo showing in infestation of flies that hits the coast of Michigan every summer. At times you don't dare breath because they are so thick, and they land on every available surface of every building!

In thinking back over vacations I had as a child, the strangest things usually were the ones I remember...but I'm hoping the children remember the feeling of happiness we shared on the beaches we visited, instead of the fear we felt when their mother was sick or the huge quantities of aquatic flies that appeared!!!

We are home for a few days before our next adventure, and the children are hugging their mother and snuggling to make her feel better...she's progressing slowly but surely. We need some down time, but our time with the little ones made us play again, and feel like kids ourselves now and then!!
