Light as a Feather

We all went to the canal this morning, and the girls went biking with grandpa while I went off to take pictures. It was a cloudy morning, and all of the usual suspects were there: geese, dogs, canal boat mules, butterflies, dragon flies. I walked a fair distance along the quieter end of the towpath and came across this lone feather floating in the water. In the end, I loved the light in this and thought it should be my blip for today.

Thanks for your kind words yesterday for my husband and his wasp misadventure. He is quite fine now and will just have to be careful and prepared in the future.
