Bola

After such wonderful weather for so long during the night and the wind picked up and the heavens opened. A real stormy night, not appreciated by the campers who came into the shop this morning trying on hats and buying scarves and complaining bitterly!

Great to see the water butt full again and the garden looks so much better after a good soak. Thankfully most things were well supported but the sweet peas took a bit of a battering.

This is another shot of the friendly cows - this one is called Bola, daughter of Ola, mother of Jimbo. Ollie and I walk passed them several times a day and they are completely relaxed with us. The grass is getting a bit low in the field so the farmer is supplementing it with freshly cut hay, which smells lovely.
