Be positive

It's easy to be positive when your day is on your terms. No bells, no ridiculous government targets, no stress and no alarm clocks.

Since returning from London I have been to the gym every day, eaten healthily every day, avoided painkillers during the day, started my university assignments, spent time with my boy and slept well every night. Granted the sleep has been induced through prescribed chemical means, because as positive as I am trying to be, the pain has not miraculously gone away.

But at least I can try to be this positive version of me for the next few weeks and maybe train myself so that when work returns, I don't slump into stress and daytime pain again! Optimism is a wonderful thing.
