Kite Flying

The wind on Beverly Beach can be counted on for excellent kite flying.

Very large kites are often flown successfully.

We enjoyed watching a boy fly a Chinese-style dragon kite that must have been 30 feet (10 meters) long.

Our 1 meter kite was quite modest in comparison, but certainly no less fun to fly.

With two strings to control it, swoops and swirls became easy for us.
