Happy Christmas .... worth the wait?

Yes it was. Mrs Wild's 2013 Xmas list included a request to see Warhorse at the Lowry Manchester. I couldn't get tickets for the Jan and Feb run so she has had to wait 7 months to go. It is every bit as good as it's reviews and you go on such an emotional roller coaster you completely forget the horses are only puppets. It is a very relevant story for Mrs Wild as one of her family use to own horse drawn carrying business at the outbreak of WW1 and all but two of the horses they owned were taken for the war effort along with members of the family being drafted into the equine divisions to look after the horses. It's a strand of family history to be investigated.

If you can get to go and see the production at the Lowry its worth the expense but take a few tissues.
