My new assistant!

Jane spent the morning with me in the studio today and she made trays, using the slab technique! We had a fabulous time. Chatting away as she learned the ins and outs of slab/mold made pieces.....apparently she is a big time pie maker so was very familiar with rolling out the clay! i threw bowls and cups and we listened to music and it was very productive and friendly!

It's nice to have her be able to drop by and help me out now and again. she also appreciated learning a new medium....and being an artist herself, she found making something with her hands, very satisfying!
