She who swims with jellyfish .. part 11

Business this morning - attempting to get to grips with online banking - urgh too many questions and passwords but I think it's sorted. The first lot of books have all gone! Ready for another order.

Diggers and men fixing drains and a relatively bump-free boreen. Now we have to wait a couple of weeks for things to settle before the last bit is done.

Bright and freezy with some spectacular downpours, we went for an invigorating walk around Farranamanagh lake and the headland. A swim beckoned later. My first beach was heaving with jellies, it was very windy and then started to rain. I ummed and aahed and then decided to try another beach. No jellies and the sun came out and the water was lovely. I like the colours in this blip. The jelly is a Compass jellyfish - only slightly stingy - and they come in all sizes from teeny to pretty huge. This was a middle sized one. I've been trying to find a clip of an amazing video work of a woman (the artist) swimming with jellyfish. No movie but here's some information.

Remains of the mega moon, ISS fly-by plus supply satellite and the Perseid meteor shower. It's all happening in the skies tonight!
