Wednesday 3 February 2010: T, Ty, Tyrant
When I started Blipping two weeks ago I made the promise to Blip all our cats and while 4 of them have been willing models number 5 proved to be a pain in the behind.
I've been nice, I've been stern ... I've been on the floor, on a chair, lurking behind corners, all to no avail. She either immediately starts washing herself as soon as she sees me, turns her head to the darkest corner possible, yawns or yells in unflattering ways, or simply walks away from me.
The grand score: at least 250 wasted shots in the last 3 days. Long live digital cameras!
So I compromised. I told her that if she'd be really good about modeling I'd give her extra Kitty Kaviar (which is basically shaved fish and something she goes bonkers over) and I used a flash-light to make her favourite spot in her favourite room a little brighter so she wouldn't have to leave her comfort zone and I wouldn't have so much trouble with the exposure.
The things we do for cats. And Blip.
Meet T, aka Ty, aka Tyra which we recently found out is short for Tyrant. Now why would you call such a meek, moldable and aiming-to-please cat Tyrant?
Oh, wait ...
