Not a day for a picnic

The forecast rain didn't deter us but it should have! What hadn't been forecast was the thick band of angry midges preceding the wave of torrential rain. It all engulfed us as we picnicked (!) beneath a Scots Pine and you can see young L attempting his version of the midgy dance!
