Gutting Fish

Another day of mixed weathers, sunny spells and showers but the wind has started to die off.

A busy day scanning old photos at work. It makes me wonder how they managed all those day to day chores we no longer do, such as milking cows and what wonderful Blips would be available if we could turn back time :)
Walkies and playtime with the dogs after tea and then off to work in the pub tonight.

After work I went to see the weigh in for the Viking Sea Angling Festival. It's a yearly competition that's been running for 30+ years now in Shetland with various sea anglers traveling up from south to attend the event. The fish isn't wasted, it's gutted here and then sold on to the local fish market with the odd bit being snapped up but the eager birds waiting.
