Still Summer

It appears, on Shetland at least, to still be summer.

While the southern part of the UK was celebrating the August Bank Holiday with what might well be called 'typical' bank holiday weather, Shetland (where it isn't a Bank Holiday) was bathed in sunshine for most of the day.

The picture shows blue skies, the greens of Fitful Head with Garths Ness in front of it, and blue water of Quendale Bay. A little later I was able to pick out 10 or 12 porpoises feeding in the bay.
