Flesh Fly

Back to the Dr's this morning for the results of my blood tests (taken 17th July). The last two results for the para-hormone had been 68, which is apparently three points above normal. It's now at 57 and apparently nothing to worry about. My calcium level is still slightly high but the results have been sent back to the rheumatologist for her decision as to whether I warrant calcium injections or any other form of treatment.

Lots of blip opportunities today in the flower department but decided to go with the Flesh-Fly because I like his gold face and big earphones. Apparently they breed in carrion and are viviparous (don't ask me) with the females depositing small larvae instead of eggs. Apologies if you are having your dinner.

Back to MK this afternoon so JJ could purchase a cable which should enable us to watch the US open tennis via his iPad without the players imitating statues every minute or so.. There was no guarantee from Apple that it would work, in which case they promised a refund.
