Brambles

The start of the day was that horrible combination of slightly hungover/shouty arguing children.
It improved greatly though, once we finally got out into the unexpected hot sunshine. Rohan had gone to a friends, Lily was away at scout camp, Gordon at work, so it was just me and the boys. And a frisbee and a blue plastic spider that was actually a ladybird. Quite a few brambles were ripe for the picking, and as this is one of Luka's favourite things to do, he was a happy boy. Noah collected lots of sticks to chuck over the bridge, we saw hundreds of wee fish as the river was so shallow and clear, and had a good walk up the hill.
Back to the garden, bit of yoga, bit of lego, and then off to collect Lily, who was tired and rosy cheeked from the sun, but in high spirits after seeing a peregrine falcon while the scouts were out on a huge walk.
