Pool time

After the couple of days in Las Palmas, today was a matter of lazing around and doing virtually nothing. The skies in LP had turned dark and threatening last night, and we were prepared for a change in the weather, but that didn't happen. Quite the opposite, in fact. The sky was clear blue, the temperature was still in the low 30s — just right for some quality pool time.

Our complex has its own restaurant, so we ate lunch there rather than go out, and when evening came round we didn't feel like doing anything even vaguely active. The internet connection in the bungalow is on the slow side, but we did manage to persuade it to behave sufficiently to watch a movie on the BBC iPlayer. The Man in the White Suit was our choice, a classic from the '50s which as just right for our mood.
