It is Friday

Another special jazz night at Burgundy's and no drums. We could really appreciate the awesome guitar playing of Trevor Owen and Andy Hume, the mellow bass strings of Ed Harrison and the quality sounds of Liam Byrne's sax playing - this was the Trevor Owen Quartet - and you too can listen to them "in sentimental mood" here . Just close your eyes, lean back and you will be in Burgundy's.

Interesting raffle last night - I contributed 2 pounds of damsons freshly picked that day and for my raffle prize I was able to have Gwen's lovely courgettes - yes it all happens at Burgundy's.

And not forgetting the sketch - Trevor was seriously into his guitar and at one point I did consider just painting the top of his head. On the other hand Liam was standing up in the most laid back way - if that is possible!
