More Kennetpans

After last night's gallery visit to look at photographs of abandoned buidings located in Stirlingshire, was inspired to take another trip down to the sadly derelict and increasingly dilapidated Kennet Distillery in out own Wee County.

Been down here a few times now, and have written about it's pioneering involvement in kick starting Scotland's whisky industry in other blipfoto entries, but it's such a good location and so criminally undervalued for its historic value I keep going back just in case one day it eventually does collapse back into the River Forth and disappears forever. That would be a sad day, but am thinking it might to far off.

A pleasant hour or so snapping away at what remains of the distillery and the harbour that serviced it, watching the river slowly shrink back as a kingfisher flitted about in amongst the grass (far too fast for me to catch though).
