Ladies' Rock

That should obviously go without saying.

Day out being all touristy around Stirling today. This weekend has been the City's Doors Open Day, with lots of the usual and more unusual buildings opening up to allow access to the public. Even better, all for free.

Spent some time back at the Old Town Jail as they'd allowed access to the rooftop for the event. Normally closed off, it has one of the best 360 degree views over Stirling and the Forth Valley, and it was pretty jammed with people and their cameras this afternoon. Grabbed a few panoramas while I could. Stopped of for some coffee and scones after that, over at Cowane's Hospital, before visiting the impressive Church of the Holy Rude.

Lots of tourists on the go everywhere, and this bunch were being herded on a tour around the Castle cemetery and were silhouetted nicely against the undecided sky on top of the Ladies' Rock, as various buildings and other landmarks were pointed out by the ubiquitous guide (if you pop up to the top of the town in Stirling you're more than likely to bump into this suitably suited guide on some corner).

I've posted the panoramas elsewhere if anyone fancies a peek.
