Queen's Baton : Carrier's Souvenir

I only found out at the end of last week that Queen's Baton Carriers were given the chance to purchase a special souvenir. And here it is. It has the carrier's name on it, and the section and location they covered. It comes in a perspex display box.

Ch has made it to Edinburgh. CJ drove her from Yorkshire up the East Coast route. A lovely day, so quite a scenic trip. Unloaded, then S and the boys helped her unpack and settle in. Her next adventure will be to find her university location. I think it will be quite near LadyFindhorn's Dower House. We'll see. I had better warn Ch to be on her best behaviour and beware of Blippers when around Middle Meadow Walk.

CJ then returned west. He clocked up over 840 miles on his relocation mission. Not long home, when his older brother arrived with sheet music and CD to begin rehearsals for the latest Band of Brothers Production - four part harmony barbershop items for a family wedding in November. This will keep them out of mischief for the next while.
