Emerald Isle

Coming in to land at Dublin airport this afternoon, struck by how flat the land looks compared to the part of France that we've just left. At this stage of the day we had done all the things you do before leaving your house (the French one) for a week. Then we drove to Rodez, boarded the flight and were nearing landing. Still ahead was the minibus trip to collect the hire car and the drive up to Belfast (and a cracked windscreen on the way). Now sitting with a Marks and Spencer dine in for two and a bit of TV before bed.
